Thedefinition of design has evolved from its essence to extensional meaning due tothe current complex system, diverse history and culture in different areas.Universities have determined their updated concepts and exploring directions ofteaching and practice of design specialty, and provided proper andcomprehensive considerations and solutions in all respects of discipline development.The fifth CGDA Graphic Design Academy Award alwaysadheres to the spirit of "pioneering, open and free" to spark theenthusiasm of teachers and students majoring in design for learning. Theplatform aims to facilitate universities to communicate and improve, observethe world from a global perspective, broaden the vision of design cognition,and make an all-round and multi-dimensional judgment and definition on thevalue of design. We spare no effort to find and support design talents to enablestudents to enter the society and market firmly and make progress frombeginners to professionals, which may promote the seamless link of educationwith industries and sectors.

參賽資格  Entry Rules

專業教師 Professional Teachers

參賽對象為全日制院校美術設計專業、成人教育院校、培訓機構任職教師。參賽作品必須是近五年創作，即2017年之后創作的作品。

Competitors are theteachers of full-time art design schools, adult education schools and traininginstitutions. The works in competition must be those created in the latest fiveyears, namely those created after 2017.

學生 Students

參賽對象為全日制院校美術設計專業在校研究生、本科生、專升本、大專生和進修生，成人教育院校、高等教育自學考試學生和進修生。2021應屆畢業生均可參賽。

Competitors are thegraduates, undergraduates, the students upgrading from junior college touniversity, the students of junior college and advanced students infull-time art design schools and the students through self-taught examinationand advanced students of adult education schools. The graduates of 2021 canparticipate in the competition.

注：參賽作品可以是得到實際應用的設計作品也可以是未得到實際應用的練習作品。

Note: The works in competitioncan be the designed works in practical application or the practice works whichhave not been practically applied.

分別設置金獎、銀獎、銅獎、優秀獎及入圍獎，CGDA2021平面設計學院獎另設全場大獎，優秀指導教師和獎優秀組織獎。獲獎名單將于評選完畢后在官網及各媒體揭曉，入圍獲獎者均頒發獲獎證書，優秀獲獎作品將會在官網展示。

Gold award, silver award, bronze award,excellence award and finalist award are set respectively. Whole-scene award,excellent advisor award and excellent organization award are also set in Graphic Design Academy Award CGDA2021. The list of awarded works will bereleased in the official website www.cgda.hk.Certificate of award will be givento all award winners. Excellent awarded works will be shown at officialwebsite.

作品提交 Work Submitted

本次比賽所有的參賽作品一律通過網絡郵箱提交，填寫并提交《作品登記表》，表格于頁面下方下載，郵件名稱格式為：參賽者姓名+類別，發送至cgdahk@163.com

品牌形象/海報設計/字體設計/插圖設計/環境圖形：每件作品需提交作品的電子檔，電子文檔要求：A4幅面，300dpi，RGB模式，存儲格式為JPEG。

Brand image/posterdesign/font design/illustration design/environmental graphic: electronic formof every work shall be submitted,Requirement on electronic form of works: A4size, 300dpi, RGB mode, storage format JPEG.

包裝設計：需提交5張以上包裝作品的電子檔（作品的效果圖或實物照片均可），要能體現包裝的整體、局部或組合效果。電子文檔要求：A4幅面，300dpi，RGB模式，存儲格式為JPEG。

Package design:more than 5 packed works in electronic form shall be submitted for every work(design sketch of work or photo of material object). The global, local orcombined effect of packages shall be shown. Requirement on electronic formof works: A4 size, 300dpi, RGB mode, storage format JPEG.

推廣用品及出版物：每件作品需提交5張以上作品的電子檔（作品的效果圖或實物照片均可），要能體現整體設計（包括出版物的封面、內頁和局部等設計）。電子文檔要求：A4幅面，300dpi，RGB模式，存儲格式為JPEG。

Popularizationarticles and publications: more than 5 packed works in electronic form shall besubmitted for every work (design sketch of work or photo of material object).Integrated design (cover, inside pages and local design of publications areincluded) shall be shown. Requirement on electronic form of works: A4size, 300dpi, RGB mode, storage format JPEG.

多媒體/交互設計：網頁設計、UI設計、APP設計、廣告影視、動畫短片、或交互實驗設計作品等表現形式不限（提交作品電子檔、作品應用鏈接或動態視頻均可，動態演示視頻時長不超過5分鐘，視頻文件大小不超過100M，統一提交格式為mp4格式）

Multimedia/interactivedesign: unlimited website design, UI design, APP design, advertisement andvideos, short animations or interactive experimental design (electronic form ofworks, link of works or dynamic videos; duration of dynamic video shall not belonger than 5 minutes; the size of video shall not be larger than 100M;the uniform format submitted is mp4)

注：參賽者可按個人（小組）意愿提交作品，數量不限，不保證每個類別均有獲獎作品產生。

Note: All competitorssubmit their works at their（group）own will. Quantity is unlimited. Some typesof work may be not awarded.

時間安排  Deadline

即日起至2021年12月17日截稿，以組委會收到稿件的時間為準。
2021年12月24日（圣誕平安夜），在CGDA官網及各媒體公布獲獎名單，同期頒發證書。

The deadline isfrom now to December 17, 2021 and will be subject to the time when theorganizing committee receives the document.
In December 24, 2021（Christmas Eve）, the officialwebsite of CGDA and major media will announce the awards, and thecertificate will be presented at the same period.

參賽費用 Entry Fee

教師單件作品100元/件，系列作品120元/件
學生單件作品60元/件，系列作品80元/件

CGDA會員參加本屆賽事費用減半。

Fee for finaljudgment:
100 yuan shall be paid for each work of teacher ; 120 yuan shall be paid foreach series work.
60 yuan shall be paid for each work of student ; 80 yuan shall be paid foreach series work.

CGDA members willhave a 50% discount.
